Fixes for Crusader's most common errors on Rainbow Six Siege.

Driver Initialization Error 1

Do each item in order, then restart. Keep Siege closed during these checks.

  1. Turn off Windows Defender (How to Disable Antivirus) and uninstall any other antivirus.
  2. Open Windows Security > Device security > Core isolation details. Turn Memory integrity and Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist off. Check both switches.
  3. Open App & browser control > Exploit protection settings > System settings. Set Control flow guard (CFG) to Off by default.
  4. In App & browser control > Reputation-based protection settings, turn the protection switches off.
  5. Uninstall Riot Vanguard and FACEIT if installed.
  6. Restart the PC, then run the Crusader loader as administrator.
  7. If the error remains, click Get Support in the loader, choose 1, then 2, and restart again. If it still fails, contact Recovery Kings support and tell them which step failed and the exact error.

Cannot Connect To Server

Connect through a VPN (Cloudflare WARP is a free option), then open the loader. You can turn the VPN off again before you open the game.

"Please open file properly"

Re-download the loader and place it in a new folder on your desktop. Make sure the loader is not still inside a zip: extract it first, then run it.
